Troubleshooting Amazon Fire TV app

To troubleshoot issues with your Fire TV app:

  1. Restart the Fire Stick.
  2. Check if there are any available updates to the Fire Stick.
  3. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if there are any available updates for your application.
  4. If you have subtitles turned on for the app, try turning them off to see if that resolves the issue.

If you have any internet filtering devices at your home (such as Disney Circle or Net Nanny), turn these off as they can cause video playback or connectivity issues.

If the problem persists, contact support with an image of your device's diagnostics, which you can find in Settings > Device Diagnostics, and an image or screen recording of the error you encountered.
